How your website works
Every firm gets a public website at your-subdomain.mattersimple.com, with your client portal built in. It needs a plan that includes the website.
The parts of your site
| Part | Where you manage it |
|---|---|
| Pages: your homepage and any other pages, such as About, Contact, Privacy Policy | Website → Pages. See Pages. |
| Theme: the design, colours, fonts, header, footer and section layouts | Website → Themes. See Themes. |
| Menus: the links in your header and footer | Website → Navigation. See Navigation menus. |
| Practice areas: a page per practice group | Firm settings → Practice areas. See Practice areas on your site. |
| Team: your published lawyers and staff | Team. See Your team on the site. |
| Blog | Website → Blog. See The blog. |
| Office details: phone, address, office hours | Firm settings → General. |
| Client portal | See Turning on the client portal. |
Your words (page text, practice areas, team profiles, articles, office details) are kept separately from the theme, so they stay when you switch themes.
