Navigation menus
Website → Navigation holds the menus of links your site shows. Which menu appears in the header and footer is chosen in the theme's header and footer sections (Edit menus links here).
Edit a menu
- Click Edit on a menu, or Add menu for a new one.
- Click Add menu item, give it a Label and pick where it goes: one of your pages, the practice areas (all, or one group or area), the blog (all, a category or an article), the client portal's sign-in, or a custom web address.
- Drag links to reorder them. Drag a link onto another to nest it: links with child links open as a dropdown in the header.
- Tick Hide from signed-in clients on links that only make sense to visitors, such as "Client sign-in".
- Save.
Links that hide themselves
A link to a draft page, a practice group that isn't on the site, an article that isn't live, the blog without the blog in your plan, or sign-in while the portal is off doesn't show on the site. It reappears once its page is available again.
The Practice areas link in the main menu is special: themes can open it as a menu of all your practice groups.
Delete a menu
Deleting a menu leaves the sections that showed it without links until you pick another menu.
